AMMONYX® LMDO is an amido amine oxide made by Stepan Company. It is used as a foam booster and stabilizer, viscosity modifier and conditioner in cleaning and personal care products.

Health and handling
AMMONYX LMDO is slightly toxic orally (rat LD50 between 500 and 1,000 mg/kg). At 5% active, it causes slight skin and minimal eye irritation. Wear gloves and safety goggles when handling, avoid eye contact and prolonged skin contact, and wash thoroughly afterward. A Safety Data Sheet is available on request.
Storage and packaging
Store in sealed containers between 10 °C and 38 °C (50–100 °F). Prolonged storage above 38 °C (100 °F) is not recommended.
Available in bulk, totes and 55-gallon drums (420 lb / 190 kg net).
