Acticarbone: High Performance, Renewable CECA Activated Carbons

by | Mar 2, 2015

J R Hess & Company, Inc. is now offering Acticarbone® activated carbons developed by CECA, a member of the Arkema global specialty chemical group.

As a specialty chemical distributor and partner in product development, we are excited to introduce this line of cutting edge activated carbons to members of the New England pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences sectors.

Activated Carbons Made From Renewable Raw Materials

CECA’s Acticarbone® activated carbons are produced from maritime pine wood harvested from Europe’s largest industrial pine forest.

This highly refined development processes, which takes place at CECA’s manufacturing facilities in France, produces physically (steam) and chemically (phosphoric acid) activated carbons in both granular and powdered form.

Acitcarbone® activated carbons are available in high-purity, ultra-pure and pharmaceutical grades.
